About Me

Hi, I'm Kristin, an instructional designer passionate about creating engaging and effective learning experiences. I graduated from Duquesne University with a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Mathematics Education and Mathematics. Although I've lived in the Pittsburgh area my whole life, I come from a family of die-hard Packers fans in Wisconsin!

I've been teaching math for five years, with this being my fourth year at the middle school level. My background as a middle school math teacher has deeply influenced my approach to instructional design. I believe in fostering collaborative environments and supporting diverse learning needs to create meaningful and impactful experiences for all students.

Currently, I'm pursuing my master's in Instructional Design and Technology. Outside of work, I'm married to my husband Jamie, and we share our home with our dog, Penny, and two cats, Carl and Ellie. I'm excited to continue growing in this field and applying my knowledge to create impactful learning experiences.
